Use a story in class
Play the narration, pause for discussion, and finish with the quiz.
Steps
- 1Open Library and choose your story.
- 2On a projector, press Full screen, then press Play narration. Each word lights up as it's read.
- 3Turn the page with the arrow when the class is ready.
- 4Under Magic Words, tap a word for a simple meaning, and press Hear it to hear it said.
- 5To finish, press Start quiz and answer the questions together.
For better results
- Use full screen on the projector: bigger pictures, and every word lights up as it's read.
- Pause on each page and ask what might happen next.
- Use the quiz as an exit ticket: answer together, or let pairs discuss each question.
