Before a story is written, the idea is reviewed for unsafe themes and copyrighted characters. Anything inappropriate is gently turned away or reshaped into a safe, original alternative.
A Zuno Crafted story is read back in full once written by a child-safety reviewer tuned to your child's age, and a story your child writes themselves in Young Author is audited before it is illustrated — checking for anything frightening, unkind, or not age-appropriate. Any story you choose to make public is reviewed again before it leaves your library.

Magic Buddy: guided conversation, not an open chatbot
Our animated Learning Buddy talks with children only inside structured, buddy-led activities — and puts parents in full control.
- ✓Off by default — a parent must enable Talk Time, and can disable it anytime.
- ✓Guided modes only (story talk, feelings check-in, curiosity, jokes) — never open-ended chat.
- ✓Every session is limited to 10 exchanges and a maximum of 3 sessions per day, ending with a gentle wind-down.
- ✓Parents can read every conversation, see everything the buddy remembers, and erase its memory with one tap.
- ✓The buddy always introduces itself as a pretend AI friend, never asks for personal details, and never discourages a child from leaving.
- ✓If a child seems upset, the buddy gently directs them to a trusted grown-up and the session is flagged for the parent.
